Dauntless Evolution

We are a Physical Theatre company that use fluid movement, dynamic imagery and a total theatre approach to bring a sense of spectacle to the stories we choose to tell. Our work celebrates humanity, finding joy in our shared experiences. We are constantly looking for new ways to tell stories and connect with audiences, we endeavour to make each show an experience never to forget.

 

Meet the Team


  • Artistic Director

    Jacob co-founded the company during his first year at East 15 Acting School. Since the beginning of his training he was always wanted to use visually bold and ambitious work to tell important stories. Since graduating, Jacob has toured schools in the North East with TIE company Enact, worked on an R+D to develop new devising methodology and supported and performed with Temper Theatre in their production HOLM at Jackon’s Lane Theatre. Jacob is furthering his training on the MA Drama Directing course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

  • Co-Founder

    Nat is an Actor who specialises in Movement and Puppetry. He Co-Founded Dauntless Evolution during his first year of training at East 15 Acting School. Nat has performed across the UK on a multitude of different projects, most notably on Frantic Assembly’s show ‘Fatherland’ and as a Puppeteer in the UK tour of ‘In The Night Garden’.

  • Co-Founder

    Born and raised in Swansea, South Wales, Ellie is one of the founding members. She went on to study at East 15 Acting School and graduated in 2021. Since graduating, Ellie has had a real passion for directing and devising with young people and currently works for West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company, along with other freelance directing and movement directing roles. Ellie is the companies workshop co-ordinator, runs the social media pages aswell as being a deviser and performer for Dauntless Evolution.

  • Associate Artist

    Lewis joined Dauntless as a core company member in his final year of East 15 Acting School. He started exploring physical theatre as it combines his passions for both performing and sport. He trains in many sports such as parkour, gymnastics, basketball, climbing and martial arts. Since graduating, Lewis has worked on multiple projects such as touring a TIE show in Germany, puppeteering Raptors at Jurassic World Exhibition and numerous motion capture projects. Lewis is one of our workshop co-ordinators.
