ALTER

ALTER follows one mans journey as he is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, otherwise known as multiple personality disorder. As he struggles to contain 6 people inside of one body he is left questioning how to cope with his new reality.

ALTER was created by combining research and real life stories with movement, verbatim speech and a contemporary sound design to open a conversation surrounding this often misrepresented mental illness and asks us to re-examine how we look at self identity.

This piece was devised and created alongside company members training at East 15 Acting School.
